Dark Horse is a young hobby kennel located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is where size, structure, temperament and longevity are bonded with the intelligence of the breed to produce quality companion and show prospect Great Danes.

Breeding requires constant attention to improvement. With that, pre breeding health tests are completed on all of our Danes and a minimum breeding age of 2 years is mandatory for both females and males. Our puppies are house raised with special attention to socialization and we stand by our unwaivering support system, both before and after you take your puppy home.

I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club and the Great Dane Club of Canada, from whom I received the honor of being named National Member of the Year in 2000. Please enjoy your visit to Dark Horse Great Danes.
